Centennial, Colorado - 35 ft x 200 ft
Client: Aspendale Centennial 60+ Active Senior Living
Challenge
A nearby warehouse was blocking the resident’s view at the senior living community. The warehouse would be the first thing residents see from their balconies and while enjoying amenities such as the pool and spa. Views are even more vital for senior living communities since it can be the main way some residents experience the world due to physical limitations. The developers were seeking a muralist who could execute a project at such a large scale.
Solution
My team and I painted a minimalist mountain mural on the back of the warehouse. This mountain mural provided a serene backdrop for daily life on the property. The design was provided by the client.
Painting a mural on over 7,000 sqft of corrugated metal is challenging, so in order to be as efficient as possible, we used a Graco Paint Sprayer. The mural was completed with plenty of time before the Grand Opening. Now the apartment complex has a mural that increases occupancy by attracting new clients.
