Harvey Slater Nutrition & Wellness was ready for a complete office refresh. They hired me to paint a serene depiction of their favorite mountainscape, Mount Baldy and the San Gabriel Mountain Range. I gave these mountains a geometric twist to create a more abstract depiction. And I included my client’s most used quotes.

The main goal was to make a calming mural. Reaching nutrition goals can be a sensitive topic for some, so it was important that the mural created a relaxing environment for their clients. The color palette was key in creating a peaceful mural that wasn’t too loud or distracting for the size of this office. I used about 15 types of blues and whites to bring the client’s favorite mountain to life.
